At Glencoe we aim to make the building process
simple & hassle free
- We offer a “no obligation” initial discuss to
explain the building process. During this discussion
we will advise you on sections, choice of materials
and designs.
- A sketch plan of your new home is drawn with our
suggestion of materials & finishes and a suggested
budget.
- Once the sketch plans have been finalised we will
then proceed to working drawings. From the working
drawings we can give you a firm quote. A Building
contract & Master Build guarantee is signed and we
will also apply for the Building Consent and
resource consents if required.
- We can now start working with you to organise the
colours, kitchen design, face of wall plumbing items
etc. for your new home.
- Once the Building consent has been issued we will
commence construction of your new home. During the
building process we will have regular site meetings
with you to discuss progress and keeping you up to
date throughout.
- During the construction a Building Inspector from
the Local authority regularly check the building to
ensure that the work is being carried out in
accordance with the building code. Following a final
inspection the Local Authority will issue a Code
Compliance Certificate.
